The KEE Triple Tube Underfloor Heating System

The Kee Underfloor Heating is suitable and can be easily installed for any type of floor. The system can be added to a conventional domestic hot water system and mixed with a conventional radiator system affording maximum flexibility. We do however stress that the total Kee package, including Thermalstore cylinder, is an efficient and economic system to heat the whole home and supply any domestic hot water requirements at mains pressure.

This gives you a fully automatic and totally controllable heating and hot water system. The central heating boiler & primary pump is activated by the thermostat on the Thermalstore cylinder, therefore when the thermalstore cylinder attains its set temperature (75° C). The boiler and primary pump are shut off until either:-

(a) One or more heating zones fall below the required pre-set temperature, switching on the underfloor heating pump, therefore cooling the thermalstore by extracting heat via the bottom coils. The thermalstore thermostat sensing the temperature drop would switch on the boiler and primary pump. With the Thermostat located a quarter of the way to the cylinder. This eliminates boiler "dry cycling" and increases fuel saving. When the zones achieve the set temperature the floor heating pump will switch off and the thermalstore will return to it’s set temperature, switching off the boiler and primary pump.

(b) If enough hot water is drawn off via the top coils to cool the thermalstore, the thermostat on the thermalstore will sense the drop in temperature and switch on the boiler and primary pump. When the hot water draw off stops. The thermalstore will attain its set temperature and switch of the boiler and primary pumps.

Whilst it is now becoming generally accepted that underfloor heating simply does the job better than conventional radiator systems and any extra installation cost is quickly repaid by lower running costs. View our Kee Benefits page to illustrate why the Kee Underfloor System, in particular, stands out from and well above alternative single and double tube systems available on the market today.

Technical drawings and information are supplied specific to all installations at the time of order, along with installation manual for these arranging their own installation, and an installation video.
